CyberSentriq has launched SentriqAI, a cybersecurity and data resilience platform for managed service providers aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses respond to a rise in AI-enabled attacks.

The platform combines email security, Microsoft 365 backup and recovery, and email archiving in a single system for MSPs managing multiple customers. It is designed to reduce reliance on separate tools for prevention, protection, recovery and compliance.

The launch comes as MSPs face growing pressure to protect smaller business customers against more sophisticated attacks while working across fragmented security systems. IBM says one in four malicious breaches were AI-enabled, with an average cost of USD $6 million per breach.

CyberSentriq says SentriqAI was built around a single user interface, one API and a shared data layer, rather than separate products grouped under one login. The approach is intended to reduce tool-switching and manual work for MSP technicians.

Platform design

SentriqAI uses behavioural analysis to learn normal email patterns within an organisation and identify anomalies, including attempts to impersonate known senders. The system evaluates signals including sender, domain, authentication, links, intent and message history, and shows technicians why a threat has been flagged.

CyberSentriq has also distinguished between functions handled automatically and those that remain subject to human judgement. Phishing quarantine and backup restore can run autonomously, while threat investigation and policy recommendations are AI-assisted.

Microsoft 365 backup and restore within the platform covers Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Entra ID. Recovery options range from individual items and mailboxes to complete workloads, while email archiving is intended to support long-term retention and compliance requirements.

Built on a multi-tenant, cloud-native architecture, the system is API-first and designed to connect with professional services automation and remote monitoring and management tools. The structure reflects a broader push among security suppliers to simplify how MSPs deploy and manage protections across customer estates.

The launch marks the first major product milestone under Myles Bray, Chief Executive Officer of CyberSentriq, who joined the business earlier this year.

"AI has changed the economics of cybercrime and is giving cybercriminals the ability to launch more convincing, targeted attacks at far greater speed and scale. While the threat has moved on, the security gap hasn't. Large enterprises have the teams, technology and budgets to respond. Most SMBs don't, and that's the imbalance we are addressing," said Myles Bray, Chief Executive Officer of CyberSentriq.

Smaller companies have become an increasingly prominent target because they often lack dedicated internal security teams and have fewer resources to manage overlapping tools. MSPs have filled much of that gap, but many still rely on separate systems for email filtering, backup, recovery and compliance management.

CyberSentriq is positioning SentriqAI as a single operating environment for those tasks. By combining security monitoring with data protection and retention, it aims to address both the growing use of AI in cyberattacks and the operational burden created by multiple disconnected products.

"There shouldn't be one standard of AI cybersecurity for large enterprises and another for everyone else. SMBs face sophisticated threats, hold valuable data and depend just as heavily on their technology. Our job is to give MSPs the intelligence, automation and resilience capabilities they need to close that gap," said Bray.
