Gallagher Security has received an award for its cloud-based physical security platform. The software system, known as OneLink, won the Cloud Security category at the 2026 Fortress Cybersecurity Awards. The accolade arrives exactly one year after the initial commercial release of the product. The Business Intelligence Group manages and presents this awards series annually. The international awards program evaluates technology solutions across 27 distinct operational categories. It draws submissions and selections from six countries globally. The awards are structured to recognise products that help mitigate corporate risk. The selections also focus on systems that secure operational integrity for users.

Infrastructure challenges

Managing security across distributed and unmanned locations presents continuous difficulties for corporate operations. Traditional physical security setups depend heavily on localised infrastructure networks. These legacy installations require virtual private networks to link remote nodes to a main server. They also necessitate the placement of dedicated physical servers at each individual site. Complex network configurations are mandatory to maintain these systems over time. These infrastructure requirements historically resulted in high capital and operational costs for businesses. Deployments at remote locations were frequently slow due to hardware installation demands. Remote facilities also suffered from reduced functional capabilities compared to central offices. OneLink addresses these traditional network and hardware limitations directly. It removes the necessity for localised server infrastructure.

Cloud integration

The system changes the method used to integrate distant sites into a corporate network. It establishes a direct link between the Gallagher Controller 7000 hardware unit and the Command Centre management platform. This connection operates entirely through cloud architecture instead of localised physical wiring or local servers. The cloud-based bridge allows organisations to deploy security assets anywhere in the world. Users can scale their security infrastructure up or down to match shifting operational demands. The setup and onboarding process is designed to execute quickly and simply. Security teams can manage all connected geographical locations from a centralised interface. Organisations can implement these remote connections without sacrificing system functionality.

"Receiving this award is a great acknowledgement of what the team has developed. OneLink fundamentally changes what's possible. Every site in your physical footprint – no matter how remote – now gets the same enterprise-grade security, access control, and compliance as your headquarters. One platform, complete visibility, no compromises," said Josh Arnold, Chief Product Officer, Gallagher Security.

System metrics

The product has generated verifiable performance data since entering the market in May 2025. Financial and temporal metrics show measurable changes in installation efficiency. Deployment times for remote secure facilities have decreased by up to 75% compared to older methods. Initial configuration costs for corporate sites have dropped by up to 97%. Long-term operational expenditures have also shifted downward over the past twelve months. Annual maintenance costs for the security network have declined by up to 36%. These statistics indicate the operational changes observed during the first year of deployment. The system allows any remote facility to function as an integrated part of a centrally managed ecosystem. Central management provides complete oversight from a single operational dashboard.

Security protocols

The underlying architecture of the system incorporates specific digital defence protocols. The platform is built entirely upon zero-trust security architecture principles. A zero-trust model requires continuous verification of every device and user on the network. The system ensures that every individual connection undergoes full authentication before gaining access. It also enforces complete digital encryption on all data transmitted across the cloud link. These cryptographic measures protect information moving between remote hardware devices and the central platform. The authentication protocols allow businesses to expand their physical networks safely. Physical security structures and cybersecurity frameworks converge within this single deployment model. The system is designed to remain secure during initial installation and subsequent scaling.

"Congratulations to Gallagher Security. With OneLink, they stripped away infrastructure complexity while keeping full enterprise functionality, letting organizations deploy and manage secure sites anywhere with real confidence," said Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer, Business Intelligence Group.
