Mithra AI launches to verify enterprise AI responses

ShelterZoom subsidiary Mithra Technologies has launched Mithra AI, a product designed to verify AI responses against trusted enterprise data.
The launch comes as businesses expand their use of artificial intelligence in decision-making while facing questions over whether the underlying data is authentic, current and authorised. Mithra AI is positioned as a trust layer that sits above existing AI models and checks enterprise content before it reaches them.
The Miami-based group said the system uses a cryptographic Single Source of Truth to validate information and maintain records showing where it came from, how it changed and who controlled it. The process is intended to give organisations evidence that traces AI answers back to verified internal knowledge.
Rather than replacing large language models, Mithra AI is designed to work with them. It can be used with models including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Grok, and can be deployed through APIs, software development kits, original equipment manufacturer partnerships or as a full enterprise system.
The business is also offering the product as an AI-native content management system for companies that want a packaged service. That version is described as a secure digital repository for organisational knowledge and intellectual property, designed to help teams organise and govern information while limiting data leakage into AI systems.
Trust layer
Mithra AI arrives amid broader concern over AI-generated errors, deepfakes, fragmented corporate data and the use of unauthorised material in automated systems. Mithra Technologies argues that monitoring model outputs alone does not solve those issues and that control needs to begin at the data layer.
Its Ask Mithra tool is designed to prepare company data before it reaches an AI model. According to Mithra Technologies, it filters out outdated, irrelevant or unsupported material and restricts unauthorised data, so only verified information is supplied to the model.
Chao Cheng-Shorland outlined the company's view of the market in a statement announcing the launch.
"Mithra was built around one simple belief: the future of AI depends on trust. The global AI market is projected to exceed $4.2 trillion by 2030. Mithra is defining a new category: AI Trust Infrastructure. Just as cybersecurity became a foundational layer for the internet, and is now a $200 billion-plus market, trust infrastructure will become a foundational layer for the AI economy. We believe every AI-generated response, decision and model interaction will require cryptographic trust, provenance, lineage and governance," said Chao Cheng-Shorland, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of ShelterZoom and Mithra Technologies.
The system creates records by default that can be used for audits and oversight, according to the company. The platform also includes blockchain-backed and post-quantum security features, which Mithra Technologies says can help companies manage compliance and security risks alongside concerns about false outputs and unauthorised data use.
Healthcare focus
Mithra Technologies said its software has already been used in life sciences. It cited a feasibility study with ArmaGen that it said generated insights into structural changes in the central nervous system of MPS I patients treated with a brain-penetrant form of enzyme replacement therapy.
The company also pointed to early interest from healthcare and defence-related users operating under stricter governance requirements. Kirby de Lanerolle, whose company Conscience IQ works in those sectors, said the product could help keep AI use within defined control frameworks.
"Across healthcare and defense, Mithra enables Conscience IQ to deploy AI within strict governance boundaries, delivering verifiable outputs, secure data environments and transparent audit trails. Whether supporting patient care or mission-critical operations, trusted AI is no longer optional; it is essential," said Kirby de Lanerolle.
Another early user is Sage Matters, Health, Longevity and Coaching Services, whose founder said healthcare providers often struggle to adopt AI without creating tension between functionality, security and compliance.
"As a healthcare group, we've been hearing consistent concerns from our AI leadership team about the challenges of integrating artificial intelligence while maintaining HIPAA compliance. The compromises typically required, whether in functionality, security or operational efficiency, have made many hesitant to move forward with AI initiatives. That's why we're excited to begin integrating Mithra. We recognize there's a massive market opportunity in medical AI, but only for solutions that can deliver both innovation and compliance without sacrifice. Our team is particularly interested in how Mithra addresses the core tension that's been holding back AI adoption in healthcare: delivering powerful AI capabilities while maintaining the security, privacy and regulatory compliance that HIPAA demands," said Dr. Barry Morgan, Founder of Sage Matters, Health, Longevity and Coaching Services.
Mithra AI is being offered directly through the company's platform, as well as through enterprise licensing and original equipment manufacturer arrangements.
