Auxilion names Eleanor Dempsey Advisory Services Chief
Auxilion has appointed Eleanor Dempsey as Director of Advisory Services, giving her responsibility for the company's advisory practice alongside her existing strategy and transformation remit.
Dempsey will lead the Dublin-based digital services provider's Advisory Services practice, which works with clients on digital initiatives and operational improvement programmes.
Auxilion said the appointment supports its plans to expand advisory work in Ireland and the UK. The company works with public and private sector organisations and provides managed services, advisory work, workforce solutions, digital technology services and business enablement.
Expanded remit
Dempsey will continue as Director of Strategy, Innovation and Transformation, where she leads Auxilion's growth plans and cross-company strategic initiatives covering innovation, operational performance and organisational growth.
In her new role, she will also lead the advisory team and its delivery model, building and shaping the practice while working with clients across a range of sectors.
Auxilion also linked the position to developing customer partnerships and to product and service design within advisory services, with a focus on measurable customer outcomes.
Dempsey has held several senior roles at Auxilion, including Chief Operating Officer, Director of Business Transformation and Principal Consultant, giving her experience across operations, consulting delivery and organisational change.
Market context
Digital service providers have faced rising demand for consulting and programme delivery tied to regulation, cybersecurity, cloud modernisation and operational efficiency. Many organisations have increased spending on transformation programmes while requiring stronger governance and clearer evidence of value.
Auxilion described Advisory Services as a focal point for work that combines strategy with delivery. The practice provides technical and advisory support across industries.
Patrick Jordan, Auxilion's Chief Executive Officer, linked the appointment to the company's development plans in Ireland and the UK.
"Eleanor's deep understanding of our business and her proven ability to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers make her exceptionally well suited to lead our Advisory Services function. This appointment reflects both her strategic leadership and her ability to connect long-term vision with execution excellence, which will be instrumental as we continue to evolve and expand our footprint in Ireland and the UK," said Jordan.
Dempsey said clients are facing increased regulation and heightened competition, which has raised the value of digital services.
"Organisations are facing all sorts of challenges, from increased regulation to heightened competition. In other words, the value of digital services has never been greater. Our Advisory Services division is all about driving meaningful and measurable impact for clients, supporting their digital journeys and enhancing business operations with unmatched reliability and compliance. I look forward to playing a part in shaping the next chapter of Auxilion's growth, strengthening our position as a trusted advisory partner across both public and private sectors," said Dempsey.
Experience and education
Dempsey holds a bachelor's degree in business studies from the University of Glamorgan, a master's degree in project management from the University of Limerick, and a postgraduate diploma in information systems from Ulster University.
Auxilion said her remit will include shaping the advisory practice and working with clients on complex change programmes as the company grows its presence across Ireland and the UK.
