Landmark & Microsoft launch secure Copilot workshops

Landmark Technologies has partnered with Microsoft to launch a Secure Copilot Enablement event series for Irish business leaders. The programme will focus on Microsoft Copilot, with an emphasis on security and risk management.

The free, in-person sessions will be held monthly at Microsoft Ireland in Dublin from September to December. They are aimed at senior leaders seeking practical guidance on adopting artificial intelligence tools in their organisations.

The workshops are designed to give attendees a clearer understanding of how Microsoft Copilot can be used in day-to-day business settings while addressing governance, security and implementation issues. Participants will also be able to meet specialists from Landmark and Microsoft.

The series reflects growing interest among Irish companies in introducing generative AI products into existing workflows without creating unnecessary operational or cybersecurity risks. For many businesses, the appeal of tools such as Copilot lies in potential productivity gains, but concerns remain around data handling, oversight and responsible use.

The sessions will take place at Microsoft Ireland's offices in South County Business Park in Dublin. Each three-hour workshop will include in-person demonstrations and implementation guidance for business and technology decision-makers.

Landmark also plans to run a separate series of four webinars on Microsoft technologies, extending the initiative beyond the in-person workshops. The online sessions are intended to offer additional advice for organisations exploring broader uses of Microsoft products in business operations.

The collaboration gives Landmark a platform to deepen its work around AI adoption, an area it has identified as a growing focus. Founded in Dublin in 1998, the IT and cybersecurity services provider has built its business around managed services spanning cybersecurity, cloud, automation and IT support.

Ireland's business technology market has seen rising demand for practical AI advice as organisations move from pilot projects to more structured adoption plans. That has created opportunities for service providers and large software vendors to position themselves as guides for companies seeking to use AI tools without exposing themselves to new compliance or security risks.

While the workshops centre on Microsoft Copilot, the broader issue for many organisations is not simply whether to deploy AI assistants but how to control access, data use and employee behaviour. Companies are increasingly seeking advice that combines technical deployment with policy, governance and risk oversight.
