Nutanix and ChronoScale have formed a strategic partnership on enterprise AI infrastructure, centred on combining Nutanix software with ChronoScale's compute platform.

The arrangement covers technical integration, joint product development, sales activity and customer programmes for large organisations in global markets.

Under the plan, ChronoScale will use Nutanix software within its AI infrastructure platform. This is expected to support customer onboarding, tenant management, service automation, virtualised infrastructure, managed Kubernetes environments and AI service delivery.

The partnership also gives Nutanix customers access to ChronoScale's GPU-as-a-Service offering and its Token Factory model for pre-paid inference usage. These services are intended to work alongside Nutanix products, including Agent Gateway and Private Inferencing, through a single control plane.

Another element involves deploying ChronoScale Foundry inside customer environments through the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform Catalog. This would allow enterprises to build, run and govern agentic workflows locally while keeping agents, data and workflow state within the customer's own boundary.

Platform plans

The tie-up reflects demand from large companies for simpler ways to assemble AI infrastructure. Many enterprise users still piece together compute, orchestration, model access and governance tools from multiple suppliers, especially where data controls and local deployment matter.

ChronoScale is positioning itself as a supplier of dedicated compute environments for AI workloads, while Nutanix is extending its cloud and infrastructure software into AI operations. The agreement brings those positions together by pairing Nutanix's software stack with ChronoScale's access to GPU capacity and managed AI services.

The companies also plan to maintain demonstration and proof-of-concept environments for customer evaluations, suggesting the partnership will focus not only on product integration but also on shortening technical assessments for enterprise buyers.

The arrangement also builds on each company's existing relationship with NVIDIA. ChronoScale is an NVIDIA Cloud Partner, while Nutanix is an NVIDIA technology partner and independent software vendor with software validated for enterprise AI deployments.

ChronoScale plans to deploy NVIDIA HGX B300 systems linked through NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking, alongside NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including NIM microservices and NeMo. Those components are intended to underpin the infrastructure stack offered through the partnership.

Enterprise focus

Both companies are targeting Global 2000 organisations and other enterprise customers that want greater control over where AI data and workflows are held. That is likely to resonate in sectors where governance, security and sovereignty requirements shape how AI systems are introduced.

The agreement comes as infrastructure suppliers seek a larger share of enterprise AI spending beyond model development alone. Buyers are increasingly focused on securing GPU access, managing costs across steady and burst workloads, and keeping sensitive data inside controlled environments.

For Nutanix, the partnership expands the ways customers can access external compute resources while keeping a software layer already familiar to many enterprise IT teams. For ChronoScale, the deal adds access to Nutanix's installed base and strengthens its pitch as a provider that can connect remote GPU supply with local deployment requirements.

The companies have not said when all integrated products and services will become generally available. The partnership is expected to be implemented through one or more definitive agreements.

In comments released with the announcement, executives at both companies said the arrangement is intended to make enterprise AI adoption easier.

"The next phase of AI is about making enterprise-grade infrastructure easier to consume and faster to deploy. This partnership with Nutanix brings together two complementary strengths - Nutanix's proven cloud platform and ChronoScale's accelerated compute, AI services, and Enterprise AI Foundry - to give customers a shorter, more sovereign path to production AI. It is an important milestone in our mission to become the platform where the global AI ecosystem converges," said Cenly Chen, Chief Executive Officer, ChronoScale.

"Organisations are looking for a simpler path to deploying AI at scale. ChronoScale is building an impressive global AI infrastructure platform designed for the demands of modern AI workloads. Together, we will help enterprises accelerate their AI transformation by combining high-performance infrastructure with the operational simplicity, flexibility and security that Nutanix delivers," said Maner.
