Broot.ai adds Vonage voice APIs for in-app CRM calling

Tue, 24th Mar 2026

Broot.ai has integrated Vonage communications APIs into its CRM platform, adding real-time in-app calling for sales and marketing users operating across multiple countries.

The integration brings Vonage Voice API, Phone Numbers and In-App Voice into Broot.ai's contact management and enrichment platform for business-to-business sales, marketing and event teams. Users can place calls from within the software instead of relying on separate calling tools.

The arrangement is intended to shorten the gap between identifying a prospect and making contact. For teams running high-volume outreach campaigns, one-click dialling can begin as soon as a lead is identified inside the system.

The feature is aimed at situations where timing matters, including follow-up with event attendees and qualified sales leads. The platform also consolidates call data and metrics, giving managers a single view of team activity and campaign performance.

Calling tools

The rollout also includes local business number provisioning. Users will be able to obtain local numbers in multiple markets, allowing sales and marketing teams to present a local presence when contacting prospects and customers abroad.

This approach is commonly used to improve answer rates in international outreach, particularly where unfamiliar overseas numbers may be ignored. By keeping number management inside the platform, Broot.ai aims to reduce the operational steps involved in setting up new calling campaigns.

The integration also reflects a broader trend in customer relationship software, with communications functions such as voice, messaging and data tracking being folded into systems used by frontline commercial teams. Software suppliers have increasingly sought to make outreach tools available inside core workflows rather than through separate applications.

Broot.ai focuses on collecting, organising and enriching business contact data from sources including networking events, digital channels and existing databases. It positions its software as a way for teams to maintain a unified contact system while linking outreach activity to prospect and customer records.

In that context, embedding voice directly into the platform extends its role from data preparation to direct customer contact. In practice, research, lead qualification and outbound calling can happen in the same environment.

According to Broot.ai, the integration is meant to remove friction for sales and marketing teams that need to act quickly after a new contact is surfaced. Instant number provisioning is part of that process, allowing teams to set up outbound calling more quickly in different markets.

"Our mission is to remove obstacles for sales and marketing teams so they can focus on building real connections," said Mithun Waghela, Founder and Chief Product Officer, Broot.ai. "Vonage Communications APIs allow us to deliver seamless, in-app calling and instant number provisioning, changing the way our users engage with their customers and prospects, no matter where they are."

Vonage, which operates as part of Ericsson, provides communications APIs that developers and software companies can embed into their own products. Its portfolio spans network APIs, communications platform services, contact centre services and unified communications.

For vendors such as Vonage, deals with software platforms like Broot.ai offer a route into sector-specific workflows, in this case customer relationship management for commercial teams. The value lies in making communications features part of a customer's day-to-day software rather than a separate service layered on top.

Workflow shift

The tie-up was framed as a way to connect customer data, outreach activity and reporting in one place. That combination is increasingly important for teams under pressure to show how quickly leads are contacted and whether campaigns are producing measurable results.

Centralised call records and performance metrics can also improve management oversight. Team leaders can review activity levels, compare campaign performance and identify where follow-up is happening quickly or where delays are affecting conversion efforts.

For Broot.ai, the announcement points to a wider effort to deepen the product beyond contact capture and enrichment. By adding built-in voice calling and number management, the platform moves closer to becoming an operational workspace for outbound engagement as well as a contact database.

"This collaboration underscores our commitment to helping software innovators like Broot.ai create intelligent, scalable solutions for the modern enterprise," said Christophe Van de Weyer, President and Head of Business Unit API, Vonage. "By bringing real-time voice and easy number management directly into CRM workflows, we're enabling organizations to connect with customers faster and more effectively around the world."
